Each piece starts out as an experiment, and I feel as though I have barely tapped into the surface of all of the ways wax can be manipulated and made into art. My work combines elements of both painting and sculpture to explore how color, texture, and shape can all work together. I strive to create art that is not only fun to look at, but also fun to touch.

My name is Adia. I grew up in Virginia Beach,VA and moved to Nashville a few years ago. When I'm not melting wax, I sing in a rock band called Stammer.
